Our very own Benjamin Dredge, Rory Manning & Samantha Pickover have provided legal advice for the sale of Porta Lancastrian to Danish company, Valpar Micro Matic Ltd.

Located in Chorley, the Porta employs 40 people and has its own manufacturing facility with in-house design, engineering and sales functions.

It offers a variety of standard draught beer fonts, tap handles and lenses, and customers can also create their own artwork and have a complete branded draught beer font.

Micro Matic already has a strong global market position in custom-designed draught beer fonts, with the acquisition of Porter Lancastrian complimenting its current business extremely well.

In addition to a strengthened position in the important UK market, the purchase makes it possible to sell Porter Lancastrian’s products outside the UK through Micro Matic’s global sales network.
