Biography

Get to know the CG team

Andy is an experienced employment solicitor, qualified since 2014, with over 18 years of dedicated practice in both contentious and non-contentious employment matters. Throughout his career, Andy has worked with a diverse range of clients across the private and public sectors and has held several in-house roles, providing him with a well-rounded perspective on employment law.


Andy has advised clients in a variety of sectors, including education, manufacturing, retail, hospitality, and SMEs, with experience leading large-scale redundancy projects, handling director/shareholder disputes and injunctions, managing complex disciplinary issues, and overseeing senior exits.


In addition to supporting day-to-day HR functions, Andy is a confident advocate in both the Employment Tribunal and the Employment Appeal Tribunal, placing great value on leadership and collaboration, striving to achieve optimal outcomes while helping to develop his colleagues.


Having encountered many of the challenges faced by HR professionals and managers firsthand, he offers practical, commercial advice that always prioritises the client's best interests.
