Surayya joined CG as a Commercial Solicitor with varied experience in a range of commercial matters, including advising on a variety of B2B and B2C contracts, agreements for the supply of goods and / or services, IT contracts and IP licences. She also has experience in advising clients in the retail and consumer sector on advertising and marketing matters, including terms and conditions relating to prize draws and competitions and providing copy clearance advice.

Surayya trained and qualified at Addleshaw Goddard in Manchester into the Commercial department, where she advised clients across a range of sectors, including sports, real estate and transport, and various FTSE100 clients. Whilst there, she gained experience in advising on sports sponsorship agreements, services agreements, website terms and conditions, general commercial queries and providing corporate support on both buy and sell side transactions. Prior to that, Surayya completed seats in the Corporate, Banking (Real Estate Finance), Commercial and Real Estate teams.

Outside of work, Surayya has an interest in baking and is a self-confessed foodie, but balances this out by regularly exploring the North West on local walks and hikes. She also enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
